An Angel

A angel once came into my life,
in the form of a girl she took my dear life,
I gave her my heart and my soul,
I treated her best as I could to no end,
she took my heart and darkened my soul,
always leaving me out in the cold,
with no answers to my questions of the mind, body or soul.

In my dark place is where I dwell,
feeling lonely with my mom saying I'm damned to hell,
falsely I smile to conceal my pain,
quickly my heart dies and fades away,
waiting to be touched by life again.
