our grad show opening is on may 7th. =)

well next time if we're both gonan be a the same place and time i can bring the text over to you. its a pretty good text book as it covers more than 20th century and all the pic are COLORED..and its a easy read with good information. it sits in my bookshelf so i may as well lend it to you in case u need extra references. =)

im gonna sound geeky for one second. I LOVE SCHOOL. seriously last semester my design curriculum covered a lot of print/2d design/illustration stuff (which i love), but i did so much of it that i got exhausted from it, but looks like this semester everything is motion, interactive and time base. example... working on story boards, flip books, the beginning bit of movies where they uniquely show the movie titles/cast (not sure what that part in the movie is called), learning html, flash and dreamweaver intensively. like im so psyched. this summer i can prob hit up a few places and get more commissioned work done with background like that. ive never felt so confident with my work before, and im less art/design shy now. I LOVE MY SCHOOL AND WHAT IT HAS GIVEN ME.

hehe ok im done. :kimmie:

I'm taking Intro to Social & Cultural Anthropology, Dynamics of Racism in Canada, Quantitative Methods (Social Research), and Sociology of Development - The Third World Experience.

Should be an interesting semester. After this semester I will have 5 classes left to get my degree in Sociology/Anthropology. :)

Good times. I'm taking another one of these this semester too to help me structure my thesis. In addition:

Conflict Resolution
Riverbasin Management
-AND with my collegues at the Sustainable Planning Research Group, I'll be writing a report for the David Suzuki Foundation that creates a sustainability index using environmental indicators. Then we're going to see how well BC is doing on the environmental front.

I'll be happy when this degree is over.
