SFU Electronica Club Anyone??

Hey all,

Just want to make a shout out to all my fellow SFU convicts.

Being club days and all... got me to thinking... we should have an SFU club for ravers. At first something basic like gathering people who like the scene and coordinating outings to different events. Also, having tickets available for the popular events as well as flyers and event info - if not already provided by FnK ^_^. If all goes good then maybe we'll have live performances from DJ's that may join our group in convo mall... but that's going ahead too far into future.

Someone stop me now if this club already exists (officially or not).

Well I see there is some honest interest... and other misguided. ;P

Stringbeans has contacted me and wants to help.

For this club to work we need executives.
We'll need people that know how to get in contact with producers and have a good knowledge of the industry.
If you're this kind of person... PM me... Uncle Snaps needs YOU.

I myself am new to this board so if you do contact me, please assume that I don't know who you are and what you do.


Over the next few weeks, I'll look into how to start this thing.
If I find this to be a feasible option to pursue then keep your eyes open..... we'll take that prison by storm I tell ya ^_^

I'll keep anyone who showed interest in this thread on a contact list so you will all know when/if this gets started.
If anything gets rolling it will be in September when the new recruits arrive.
This will give ample time for planning and figuring out what this club would be all about.

I don't go to SFU but I'll be living close enough to participate soon. Hell I've been there enough that some of my friends asked what I was taking. Soon they'll recognize my PhD in Alcoholism...
