I'm a Member of the Provincial Emergency Program so once in awhile my Dad and I get a phone call asking us to work an evening shift out by the Fraser as Early Warning of Flooding. And yah, actually, the drainage here at work = teh suck. The water in our Parking Lot is a good 3" deep in some places. The Ditches along the roads here are also almost at Road Level. WERD TO THE BELOW SEA LEVEL MASSIF!

Yes all the highways between BC and Alberta have been closed for the most part this week !! makes my job really easy but so boring!

During the winter, I never really mind the rain, because I'm usually comfortable with the fact that it means it's dumping, up top, on the hills.

I've not been on my board since mid-December, fer cryssakes!!!

I was hoping to have gone up a few times, since the new year, but:

1) It was cold and dry. Meaning that the hills were glacial. No point.

2)Now, it's been warm and rainy, washing away snow. No point.
