Is it weird to smile? I could be thinking about something really shitty, but if I pass by someone on the sidewalk, I smile at them as though I am saying hello. I think it's from coming from a small island community...ignoring a persons presence is kinda rude in my books

i do this sometimes too. usually just after i saw something funny. like outside the art gallery today at around 5:30, they were blasting this weird music in some other language, and there were people dancing. i dunno what they were up to, but if that was a rain dance i'm gonna be PISSED.
