I dunno, I disliked valentines day even when I wasn't single, and I've been not single for the past 3 years or so. I still did something for my significant others' but mostly because of what it meant to them rather than what it meant to me. I personally find traditional holidays like v-day kind of awkward and I find valentines day to be unecessarily stressful.

Thankfully this year I have no stresses to worry about so i'm going to make it fun for myself and try to buy chocolates/bake cookies/make valentines day cards for my co-workers and friends and just make the best of it.

i want to see the Vagina Monologues this year :P

one of the worst things about valentines day is the thoughtlessness that comes with it. It seems like so many couples just do the same banal shit on valentines.
1. Buy them an expensive present.
2. Go to a restaurant.

YAY for Valentines... aka consumerism at it's second best! (christmas is it's very best)

anyways.. valentineS day is lame.. and I am not saying that because I am bitter, I am saying it becuase it really is lame OKAY!!! so stop buying people a bunch of over priced crap ... they will love you anyways even if you don't... because it is not about gifts and candy, nor reminding your lover how much you love them (we all know you can do that any goddamn day)... so basically it is just a day where everyone with a partner knows they will be getting HOT SEX ALL DAY and/or NIGHT LONG!!! :p

hmm...i must agree with you...
i thought it was gonna be kinda dumb, but i actually had quite an enjoyable day, it was warm and sunny, and i hung out with some friends, and then i went to work, and i was quite cheery:) i had a good single valentines day =)
