my company, front page of paper.. yay

So my company is on the front page of the Sun's business section today, also in their electronic version:

although it's cooler to actually see it in the paper than on the internet.

This almost makes it feel like theirs a point to what I do... almost. It would also be nice to see some of this so called money that my company apparently will be making - pfft.. yah right.

granted it is a valid question from the vague way I worded the title, however I doubt many owners of multi-national/multi-million dollar companies generally have either the time or the will to post on FnK.

umm.. to be fair the Vancouver Sun really isn't considered a "local" paper considering it's province wide. Now the Ridge Meadows Times or the Maple Ridge News are local papers.

I really don't understand why people are so elitest towards the Sun, and deem it a rag tag operations barely any better than the Province (now there's a shitty paper, if we can even call it one). What is a good paper in your mind then?

The Province KNOWS it's shitty. It's like a magazine, hence, entertaining to read. Vancouver Sun, however, tries to be something it's just not.

but not really, cuz although it isn't the most amazing writing in the world it really isn't that bad - and nobody has still given any opinion of what a "good" newspaper is.

I guess I'm just going to have to disagree with you people then.

ps. the only entertaining part of the Province is the comics,the rest is simply annoying.

i knew you were going to say the globe and mail... i just knew it. It is a good paper true, but it might as well be the "Toronto and mail".

yah, the celebrity sightings are my personal fave... I should have written them to let them know I saw Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner walk right past my coffee shop - that's right!! They walked right by the bay windows and Ben even lit a cigarette, amazing really... that could've actually made the news section in the province!

and the constant use of the front page for either personal tragedies or scandals, i like that too - there's always a 'shocking' story...
