so my roomie had these two girls over today (a lesbian couple) because they all knew eachother from highschool and were catching up. i hung out with them for a while and not knowing they were gay at first, i realized something. All the things that my gf has to remind me to do (hugs, show affection, buy gifts, give compliments on cue, talk about feelings, etc) these two chicks were doing instinctually. they are two women after all.

The whole understanding factor is, in my humble opinion, precisely what makes being attracted to the same sex so great! Not that mystery and confusion don't have their place, but we're talking about relationships, so naturally that's going to enter into it automatically sooner or later.

I've only ever been involved in one pseudo-relationship with a girl. When I realized I had absolutely no intuitive idea of how she worked, and the physical thing was only so-so, I went "So THAT'S why I'm gay. I get men!"

EXACTLY what I was going to say. If I didn't love cock so much, and there wasn't that little something about boys (I've been boy crazy since the day I was born, or maybe just plain crazy) I would have "gone gay" years ago.

That and luckily I found a boy who does all those things for me regardless of his testosterone essence :D
