my boyfriend and i were lost cruising around white rock the other day, we drove past some beautiful estates similar to the ones on SW Marine Drive. then SUDDENLY there was a small street and then tiny little shithouses.
my boyfriend was later looking at his beloved map and noticed that the street that seperated the little shitbox houses and the beautiful estates and mansions was the dividing line between surrey and white rock.

sorry 2 say but most big houses on SW Marine Drive is technically in south surrey..... yes allot of the neighbourhood just say they r from whiterock but anyways; think surrey has less property taxes
white rock proper is a tiny strip directly behind the main beach here.
as 2 the shitbox houses... unfortunately think u drove in2 the semiahmoo indian reserve which sits on ur way between whiterock and the border.

think they been petitioning to make the whole semiahmoo peninsula whiterock but surrey of course don't wanna give up all the property taxes from the big houses.

what is most annoyin is when some1 say south surrey that ppl think u r from newton or strawberry hill or sumthing; all due respect to those neighbourhoods itz frickin like 10-15 km away

All I have to say about the Surrey bashing is visit Fleetwood, Panorama Ridge, Boundry Park or somewhere like Morgan Creek in South Surrey and THEN tell me it's ghetto.

Not all of Surrey is Ghetto. Most of Surrey isn't that bad. The whole place just gets painted with the Whalley/Bridgeview brush.
