putting "DJ" in front of your DJ handle is about the most played thing in the world... I mean really... if you're behind the decks and you're playing records, what the fuck else are you gonna end up being? so why is the "DJ" part necessary in this day and age?

What about internet handles? maybe people say DJ before their alias to clarify that they are infact dj's, and they're not just sportin' a gamer tag or internet alias. I dunno, it doesn't sound THAT far off base.

I like creative dj names, but when you can't think of one i think it's better to use the name given to you. or, atleast, that's what i'm telling people. lol. I had a talk with Greg C once and he was telling me that it's better just to use your name if you can't think of anything. it saves you from changing your dj handle over and over again until something fits. or being stuck with a shitty dj name. But whatever. it's just a name.
