People use animals to get to you.
obviously it works.

there was a thing in the news a little while ago telling people not to leave their pets tied up outside stores (grocery, liquor etc etc) because homeless people were stealing them and using them for pity and sympathy when they pan-handle.

if a bum says that they are hungry, i offer to buy them food. never give money.

So funny, there's the young spanish dude that looks like he's totally healthy that hangs around kits capers, shoppers and kerrisdale london drugs....he would ask me everytime and I never gave him anything but a really nice hey how's it goin' or a smile, he seemed so nice until I told him that he should give up trying to get money from me because I've never given him anything and I never will.
