Why does FOX cancel all the good shows?
and keep making crap ass reality series?
These are shows that were cancelled with no warning, and no proper series finale: -Married with Children -Boston Public -Family Guy (though it's coming back) -Futurama (kinda) Possibly being added to this list: Malcolm in the Middle, King of the Hill, and..... Arrested Development!!!!! AD finished production in its second season at only 18 episodes, rather than the usual 22-24 to make up a season. The last episode will air April 17, then American Dad comes into this time slot. ARGH Fox sucks!! How can they cancel AD? If they really cared about it and wanted to boost its ratings, they could play it right before American Idol, and move the Simple Life on Sundays. I guess AD humour's too smart for the common American.

easy, because fox is fucking retarded.
they used to switch family guy's timeslots practically every 2 weeks. it fuckin pissed me off then, and it pisses me off now, because the show could and should have been running since it's original air date. futurama's cancellation was probably related to the fact fox wanted simpsons2 and they got a show that wasn't even close to that. and the fact that futurama constantly pokes fun at the stupidity of their past (our present day) it probably didn't sit well with fox execs who have to depend on those idiots to keep their reality tv program of the week afloat. married with had basically run it's course. though i still miss this show and would love to see re-runs.

Seth McFarlane looks like he's using the same formula for American Dad that he used for Family Guy.
Instead of a talking dog, you got a talking goldfish; instead of the baby, you got this alien. At least Matt Groening created a totally different show with Futurama. I still have yet to see any smartness or wit with Family Guy. It's funny.. but... I guess I haven't seen any good episodes.

heh, i won't miss king of the hill...
but family guy was the best thing that has happened to tv since colour tvs came out. then theres american dad. i know, its pretty much the same format as family guy, hell, its even got a similar name, which i didnt think was very original... but nevertheless, its got fuckin sweet characters ie. klaus.. and the gags and jokes are just one after another after another! i found i was laughing harder and harder throughout the episode.

I am so glad they canceled method man & redman's show, that was the dumbest show I've ever seen (that laugh track just killed it), I wasn't a fan of method man anymore after that

It should be picked up by another network. Maybe HBO. The humour's more like a cable network comedy than your run-of-the-mill crap sitcom on network TV anyway. I don't get how an Emmy winning series, with a Golden Globe winning guy could be cancelled. 24 wasn't doing so well initially, then they moved it to the same day the OC was, and they also gave it a crap load of tv promos, and now it's one of the most popular shows. I don't see why they can't do the same for AD.
