ipod...ARRHRHHR!

OK something happend to my bleloved ipod. i was updating some new tunes into it then it stops. and i get a 'unknown error(-51)' message.

i did not prematurly disconect. i didnt do anything wrong cept plug it into my mac. im using a g4 power mac with os 10.3.3 with the latest version of itunes

has this happend to anyone? if its a problem with my ipod..were can i get it fixed? how much is it gona cost.

If you have a problem with anything go to the mac store on broadway. They'll help you trouble shoot any problems you have;P

I have a G4 powerbook and an ipod mini. I find that my computer always has little wierd glitches. Also, my ipod has some kind of problem where I can't download any songs from my computer because all of the playlists got deleted somehow*confused

I'm straight up dissapointed with mac...

anyone know if the micro zen is any good? things looks way better then an ipod, specs wise it is better but obviously it means nothing if the quality doesnt back it up

try resetting your ipod.
sometimes that's all it needs.

if not, call a mac store and i'm sure they can offer some advice.

two of my buddies have em, so far they love them. But it's the same deal with the battery, you gotta send them into Creative to get them replaced.

My iTrip makes the battery run out within 45 minutes to an hour....LAME...it doesn't matter how many of hours that iPod can hold, the battery would never make it through anyways.

I dont think it looks better. It looks kinda clunky, and I heard the scroll pad thing is really annoying. The click wheel is more intuitive because you keep your thumb down and rub in a circle. With the scroll pad, you go top to bottom, again and again.

Also, just because it says the same HD size stores more than iPod, you have to consider the file type and compression.

YES! ipod is back up and running...i had to reset the little bastard and reinstall the drivers.

I woudn't touch a creative product if my life depended on it, I'll stick with ipods. Nothing beats the build quality, ease of use and integration of an ipod. They do one thing and they do it well. Does anyone notice how all these other players have way more features yet sell less?

Yeah I got mine. It's working great so far.

Music changes EVERYTHING. My ghetto discman got stolen when my car got broken into, and basically I had nothing for all this time :(
