Shaw vs Telus Internet

Looking for a business connection. Shaw Extreme-I/Business Connection, or Telus' Server 4.0 Business Connection? Prices, experiences, reviews, etc... I wanna know :)

Or another provider that you could forward me too.

Thanks.

if ya live downtown ya gotta go w/ novus...

i got a fibre optic t1 line here, which is far superior to anything shaw or telus can offer..

if you dont live downtown...its a personal preference....the more expensive telus line is faster than shaw, but more commonly goes down, which can be very frustrating...also telus service licks hairy, sweaty balls....

simply put, shaw is more reliable, but telus is faster; on average...
both are far from perfect though

i just use the normal package. i used to be on shaw for about a year but have been on telus for the past 2 or so. my opinion is that telus is better. plus they dont suspend ur account down downloading too much cause i see many people having that happen to them with their shaw accounts. and shaw is more exspensive too from what i remember

well, from experiencing both - telus & shaw, I would say shaw - as they are more reliable. Telus has problems with their dns servers constantly going down due to overwhelming requests due to misc internet junk that plug up their uplinks and cause down time.

On average, I would be down for an hour or so a day.

Switched to shaw, have never had a problem with down time.

We use Delta Cable at my company... it works good enough to run our Website and Exchange Server.

We use Telus at home and it does go down quite a bit.

On my laptop though, I'm on this wireless network named after my street. I have NO idea where the signal's coming from, but it's free. Like a wifi hotspot for my street.

See what else you can find, you might be surprised. If you find a workgroup, see what computers you can browse. A lot of people have open shared folders.
