Firefox keeps asking to dial up

So i have a laptop and i have my dialup set up as a just-in-case connection for when im out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere.

however when im using firefox, it sometimes asks me to dial up even though im already connected to the internet via LAN.

i was having the same problems with IE as well but i figured out how to fix it in IE but firefox doesnt seem to have the same option.

any ideas?

ps:
-not using firefox anymore is not an option

Try disabling the Dial Up Connection while it isn't in use so that Firefox couldn't use it if it wanted to.
