i was SOOOOOOOOOOOo pissed that i missed it last week while i was out of town.
did anyone else watch the first week?
that was great, not what i expected but still great.
and last week was supposed to be a shopping addict and a gambling addict, oh man, i so wish i could have seen that.

I watched it tonight.... it was about one girl who cuts and one woman who is addicted to painkillers...
watching makes u feel like ur not so fucked up...cuz in comparison these people are pretty messed....

next week is about a young man who is addicted to sex and meth.... that should be interesting

It's a reality show, but so much better than the other reality shit on T.V. right now. People addicted to a number of things agree to have their every day lives taped. What the don't know is that the people closest to them (friends and family) are secretly planning an intervention for them. Obviously, it's up to the addict if they want to go or not, but it's kind of "go or lose something" situation.

I can't say for sure because I missed last night's episode, but I think only one featured person has skipped rehab. It was the gambling addict. I never held any hope for that guy though, he was a jackass.

Its a really good show.
I've watched it since it started.
I like the fact of they actually help the person, not use their problems to get them ratings, they do care for the people.

last nite was sad about the girl that was the cutter, she was pretty effin cute, heh...and its too bad that the chick addicted to painkillers got kicked out of the treatment center for using anti-depressents...next week shall be interesting, indeed

Ouch...but that's not as bad as when--out of the blue and completely unaccompanied by even the shortest explanation/discussion--I got from my parents a book of newspaper & internet articles entitled, "editMental Illnessedit & Substance Abuse" . . . :Serotonin . . . WHAAAA!? So...I did what any reasonable person would have done in that situation: I totally ignored the entire thing. Anyways, I didn't want to risk missing the point that they were ever-so-subtly hinting at, seeing as I obviously got the wrong idea...mmhmm...

Anywho, since then, nothing in our familial relationship has changed at all: My parents continue to act blissfully ignorant, and I ignorantly assume that they still think I'm innocent. And that's the end of that chapter.
