Do ENERGY drinks actually work for you?

As I gulp this SOBE No fear back I wonder to myself; I've tried a lot of energy drinks - some powerful, others not so. And I am noticing somewhat of a rush to the head to give the sensation of a boost of energy - but then agian, I had a drink called energy juss earlier and it didnt do a whole bunch.

But yeah- I usually drink energy drinks before big parties or something like that, or if I know I have a big day ahead of me.

What about you, do they affect you?

I think all energy drinks taste like arse.

so I dont drink them.. so couldnt tell ya.

But Give Erin a few Redbulls.. and man is she on the go!

Redbull works like a charm for me..but it pains me to spend that kind of money on an energy boost. I personally like "RED RAVE", you buy it at cosco. They come in packs of 24 for 18$ and are basicly redbull but taste ALOT better. I definitly reccomend.

Nope, well the ones that ive tried.
I used to drink a lot of Coke so I think my body is just immune to all the caffeine and sugar, therefore drinking 3-4 redbulls do nothing to me.

And yeah, they do all kind of taste nasty, so I dont bother wasting my money with them.

yeah some of them do taste kinda've narsty. but I think with the more I drink the more accustomed to the taste I get.


the new one, red rain is actually really really good, it works too I've noticed

Thats like the same situation as me but i never really thought about it, till you put it in that perspective.

I used to drink shit loads of the bottled coke in grade 10-12 at school.

and yea i guess as result redbull does absolutely nothing cept for drain my money.

occasionally i f i drink like 4 cans of monster energy i get a bit of a boost. but thats about it.

so nothing really for me

nope its called red rain - its brand new juss came in stores like a couple weeks ago. I've only seen it at the sevy's - they told me ahead of time they were getting like 4 new brands in within the next month - and the next time I walked in I saw red rain - tried it and fell in love - I'd say thats the best energy drink so far.

but those energy pills from the states plus a red bull, will fuck you up more than doing a gram rail.... but thats a whole other story.....

yeah those power shots at 7y - those ounce of pure cafeinne - those are pretty decent for energy boost. I havent tried the pill - though I want too.

I also wouldnt mind trying the red bull from the states - screw our censored drink!

Yeah, I am in the same boat. I used to drink a shitload of Coke and shit, so energy drinks don't really do a whole lot for me...

Red Bull + Booze is a good combo when dancing... keeps me pretty clear headed and up on the dancefloor all night.

I tried one of those power shot drinks... I thought it tasted like shit, and didn't do a god damn thing for me... get more of a buzz drinking water.

Granted, that could just be the Nanaimo water. :P

LOL yeah - actually for the last couple days I have made a point not to drink water - I think our water is getting more nuclear every day.

but I think th ose power shots - do taste like shit - but it gave me a bit of a buzz.

Bawls has worked for doom, especially when he chugs 10 of them in a row... there is also this new energy "drink" that they sell at some 7-11's it's only in a two ounce container but contains the same caffeine as about 10 to 15 cups of coffee... at least that is what the package says.

energy drinks would probably kill me. i'm already bouncing off the walls without any pop. i have had one of those tiny bottles of Red Bull tho it didn't do anythying, it may have been because the small amount that i had. i've stuck with my good clean Comox water and it keeps me in check:) my sis is living in Nanaimo and she says the water "tastes funky" so she bought a Brita thingy
