Your cat needs to have it's sex organs removed to prevent it from creating the hormones that make it go into "heat" , and thats all you can really do.

And for fucks sake spay your cat..its like $50 dollars..call around too different vets and get some quotes..you might have to lose a weekend of raving but at least your poor cat wont be in pain. Thanks.

DONT EXAGERATE- it took you 15-20 minutes minamum okaaaay lol um and i rave like once every two months,lol,thought you'd know that.and is she really in pain? and dont lecture me about her having babies im responcible,and have more agianst animal crulety and over population,than half of you on here.i only wanted a litter of pure breds to sell and give to my gfs as gifts,but i guess im scraping that idea,cuz im not losing another hour of sleep over her god damn hormones,but shes so perfect shed have the nicest most perfectest bb's uhg im so torn beetween this,and bb are so coot,but thats gonna be in two years or so,well see how things go i guess,plus im broke as hell and so is my ma.and i think its time for her to gets shots n such :P

I really don't think a cat being in heat means they are in pain....Do you even own a cat...I have had many cats through my life and I am pretty sure they are'nt in pain when in heat...For fuck sakes the cat is just fuckin horny...And when they are horny that doesn't mean they are in pain...I think you need to get your facts straight...

Uh..call up a vet right now and ask. If your cat is in heat and you are doing nothing about it its VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and sometimes to the point where it hurts. Her hormones are telling her thats its time to breed. And when shes locked in a house rubbing all up on everything.. that sucks. =D

If you want her to have kittens..then go for it.. If your going to give them away for free then dont worry about the shots..they can do that themselves. As a cat lover, and being that i've gone through the same situation.. I would do something about it.

Dont ask for 'help' and then refuse to accept it.

you wanting to hump your boyfriend, and an animal wanting to breed are a bit different.

if you can't afford to take care of your pets, you shouldn't have them in the first place.
you're already holding her back from trying to do what is instinctive to her. having her fixed would relieve the both of you.

It might be uncomfortable but I still do not agree with the pain part...The reason they howl like that is because they are trying to call her mate...But I can count on it that she is not in pain...It is just as easy for me to look it up on the internet then phone a vet and trust me it is nowhere close to feeling pain...SHe is hory and wants to mate....End of story...
