$1000 Industrial first aid level 3
It's $100 for level 1
And another 100$ for Transportation Endorsement, which is basically loading people in ambulances.

It's a 2 week course for the industrial first aid and 1 day courses for the rest, which are both required to take OFA 3. It's a chunk of money to shell out at first, but It's totally worth out.
I've been offered 4 jobs already, the least of which will pay $14.50 an hour to start, and I havn't even finished the course.
The OFA 3 is good for 3 years and the other two, two years.
Tell me where you can go wrong?

you can't.
training like that is useful in all aspects of life, especially once you are a parent.
to have kids and not know first aid/cpr makes you a fool.

Max, get your H2S ticket (a day course and $125) and apply at Nabors. If you aren't afraid of a little hard work and existing in a prison camp- like atmosphere , you can be making 7 large a month on an entry level position. Alberta is introducing a trade ticket for riggers next month too...... something to look in to.

I think your in Grande prairie.....all the money is in Fort mcmurray right now (mcdonalds employees make $12/ hour and double wide trailers run $225,000) If your willing to work , there is alot more than 15 bucks an hour out there.
