Well, it is a good thing, but IMO it would be better if it didn´t get too commercial, like hip hop did in the past years....
I think it will be the same, everyone is gonna be listening to electronic music.... There is also a big boom here, you here house music everywhere and the scene is growing.
It would suck if britney spears made a song with tiesto or AvB, or did this already happen ??

^^ tiesto is like the britney spears of electronic music anyways. And things are commercial already, thats unavoidable. I hate these stupid "commericial" talks, things went commercial like a decade or more ago, without that you wouldn't be able to see your popstar trance dj's in clubs anyways.

Anyways. Electronic music growing? Hein. Major electronic shows have been going and conflicting for years. I'd say we just got off a good weekend, but the spring's just starting and it's probably the result of people just wanting to get out of the house.

We'll wait and see what happens when the summer kicks around. Then I think we'll have a better idea how big the scene turns out this year.

One thing I wonder about is whether we are on the tail end of the electronic music boom here, like maybe it has peaked elsewhere such as in Europe, but there is still interest here and that is why the big guys come - because there aren't many gigs other places.
