avacados, olive oil, salt, and artichokes

my mom has made artichokes in the past, but lately the only artichokes we've been having are canned artichokes. they're still yummy, i cut them up over a salad, but it has -nothing- on fresh artichokes!

the other night i went to some italian restaurant and they had grilled artichoke hearts, sooooooooooo goood!

mmmm... sometimes i think i shoulda been born into an italian or greek family cos i love their food so much! i could eat it for lunch/dinner/and maybe breakfast.
