Telusmobility phones??
So it turns out I need to get a new phone ( mine is dead and can't be repaired under warrentee:( )
Which phone would you recomend? http://www.telusmobility.com/bc/pcs/handset_home.shtml I've kinda narrowed my search between the Samsung A670 phone or the Motorola V710 so I was wondering if anyone has used or is using any of these two. Are there any phones that are better then these two? http://www.telusmobility.com/bc/pcs/...sch_a670.shtml http://www.telusmobility.com/bc/pcs/...ola_v710.shtml How is the reception on it? How is the overall features? Is the camera any good? Anything you dislike about it? Thanks for your help! |

I'm in the same boat :( Apparently my phone doesn't like swimming in a pool of beer. It lets me know when someones calling and if they leave a message, but it won't let me answer it :(
I don't know about those phones but how often do you actually use the camera? I paid more for mine when I got it because it had a better camera - but rarely use it. |

Yeah unfortunatly my phone no longer charges. I had it charging on my table and I triped over the cable send my phone across the room. It works fine still but i need to use elastic bands to keep the charger in a certain position to charge it. If your phone is on the fritz too then you should get the same one that i end up getting then we can still be phone buddies...lol. |

as much as i like the features, the v710 was a disappointment. :( |

No the problem is the little socket on the phone not the plug. What i ment was once it gets charged the phone works ok. ( comparing to M!SKA's post above ) What phone did you end up getting? |

the guy at telus was telling me the samsung 650 was a tank and that they've had the least complaints/returns and whatnot with it.
it doesn't have a camera or anything though. i'ma get one i think. the phone is only $30 with a 3 year contract. /j |

kinda unrelated but I think I'm getting this phone in two weeks
http://www3.bell.ca/shop/en_CA_BC/60770.details I love the idea of photo call display. I also like working for bell, can't go wrong with a nearly free phone and a completely free cellphone (unlimited everything except long distance!) |

I'd say go for Samsung. I've had Motorolas before I got my Samsung flip. The Motorolas were crap, and the batteries died out really quickly. I have the X477 from Rogers. It's the really small, simple one with no outside screen nor camera. Just a colour screen inside. It's great, I just wanted a phone without the bells and whistles.
The Samsung one Telus has follows the same style of the other Samsungs. I've never heard a Samsung owner complain :p |

I ended up going for the fast tap. With my discount it was the only one in my price range really that was decent, without getting the phone I had before. LG 5450. Now I kinda wish I spent the extra $70 and went with the LG 535. I get such a huge discount off of it but I still can't justify that extra cash. Plus I'm sooo used to flipphones now. |

i'm probably going with the lg 535 myself. the audiovox i have now is dying. it likes to make strange beeping noise and disconnect my calls on me. but it's served me well for 2 years now. |
