$1.02 per litre, what's ur threshold?

i saw gas price hit $1.02 this morning downtown vancity.
co-workers were screamin, but i didn't care. i fill up
about once every 8 days. the difference btw $0.82 and
$1.02 per litre is maybe $7 per fillup. question for allz
u guys w/ big cars, trucks and big displacement engine
sports cars, how high will gas prices have to go for u
to downsize ur ride or even give up drivin altogether?

glad i don't live in the city. i'm like you, i only have to fill up one a week. but if i drove a gas guzzling vehicle, i'd be broke.

i have no choice when its during the week, because i have to get to work, and unfortunately unless im stuck i wont take the bus/skytrain cause it takes too long...it doubles the time it takes me to get to work


so i have to suck it up...


and when i do fill up i try going to aldergrove...it was 20 cents less...now its still 10 cents cheaper

i got gas yesterday at $1.07.
im used to paying more for premium gas. and now i only fill about once a week. so its not that bad. i sure miss the days when gas was under $0.40.

I paid 74 yesterday I tripped it out to Abby/Sumas exit. Im lucky a tank can last me 2 weeks or longer..

Mt Lehman Shell right off highway #1 was 75.4 and filled my tank for 28$ only benifet to living out in the boonies.

gas is one thing i majorly waste my money on. and no dont lecture me on using the fucking bus or skytrain cause that would kill me in expenses too actually and would kill many previous hours of my life. and i mostly use my car when the transit is not available.
gas price is one of the few things that upsets me in life. shouldnt crime rate go up with the gas price as well?

I love to drive so I buy gas and I can't complain.... especiially since I got a new rocketsled for a ride.

I don't smoke or drink Satrbucks coffee on a regular basis so I probably save mega $$$ a month.

Go the extra 2km to the new Shell at Fraser Hwy and 272nd.... it's still like 74.9 there!! I gas up there everytime I go to visit my Dad. I remember paying 27.9 in Mission about 5 yrs ago or so when ARCO came into Canada.

As for the gas prices in town here.... it's insane! If it gets much higher I'll resort to taking the West Coast Express into work. I mean I get to read my paper in comfort and it'll save me both money and stress... WIN/WIN.

Although the convenience of leaving whenever I want would be compromised!

1 gallon = 3.785 litres

a fill up for me is like 60L so 15.85 gallons

we're talking like $50CAD for a fill up in the states compared to $60 here
