HAha the funny thing is I was just looking at the google maps an hour ago too. Came across a link on the Yahoo business news pages.

Yep, I can see my house, even the tree in the front yard. Amazing. I looked at the Chilliwack airport and you can see the Cessnas parked there very clearly and can identify the twin engine planes. Not quite sharp enough to see people.

Check the Vancouver airport and there's a huge number of airliners!

OF COURSE they can see you. what you are doing right now. every minute of the day. the ONLY comforting thing bout it, is that, there being SO MANY PEOPLE, YOU are probably WAY less of a target for it, than say, someone who has a grow op in their basement.

I found a satlite image of vancouver

When you go there uncheck all the boxes on the left and then click the check box for 'Orthophotos 2004' and 'Satellite Imagary' on the left hand side.
Use the 'Zoom In' tool to get more detail.
