going to the states for gas?

My mother has started doing this ( my sister lives there) so shes obviously in the area and it is obviously cheaper. But would it be cheaper for someone who lived in surrey, or white rock if they didnt have to go to the states. what about someone from vancouver?

the amount of gas u waste driving from van would be a waste.. but for us white rockers i can be at a US gas station with like 10-15 minute drive.. minus the time u wait at the border.

Back in the day I used to go across the border with my grandpa and get gas! If it was really worth it.. I would drive the 10 minutes to the border..but so far it hasnt gotten *that* bad.

I remember going to the states as a child to get gas, milk and eggs. I think my parents must be some of the cheapest people alive! (but I love them... :P)

Point Roberts is usually the closest, especially if you live near Richmond, or Delta, only a 10-15 min. drive, and gas is around 70ish CND
