I thought most skate shoes weren't even suitable for skating anymore. And that if you actually "skate" while wearing said skate shoes, they aren't covered for wear and tear even if you bust em within like a week (according to what I understand is w49's policy).

^ Agreed, they do make your feet look like pillows, but skates are really comfy kicks. Plus they don't look half bad with most clothes, except dressy stuff. Speaking from experience, I wouldn't be surprised if W49 had that 1-week-wear-policy. Having skated for 4 years (quit 5 years ago), I've never owned a durable skate-shoe. They won't make one... why should they? The faster their shoes wear down, the faster they make money. Bastards.
