Drug free rave?

i have a friend looking to check out the rave scene, though she (and im assumeing her friends) is looking for a drug free rave. does this actualy happen? and where. id appreciate any info, thanks.

Why does the rave have to be drug free?

Why can't you just go and be drug free at the rave? Its not like you're going to see people shooting up on the dance floor or or smoking crack in the bathroom or something. People generally do their shit discreetly (a pill or a rail is quick and private) other than the above-normal energy in the room and the unsusually friendly people you will meet, you wont be able to really 'see' the drugs. Go sober and have fun, but don't expect everyone else to.

Except for the fondu party I went to last month with 2 jehovah witness couples. They were DEFINATELY drug free!

But seriously.. Drugs are something that you cant avoid all together. They are always going to be around. All you can do is avoid people doing them or avoid watching it happen. Even though I dont think that a person doing drugs is any reason not to associate with them.
