eyelash extensions

i already had long eyelashes, but now i have full and luxurious ones

My friend just told me about those last night,the salon she works at is going to try them out on her. If they turnh out to be as great as they sound shes going to take the course too and do them on the side for cheap. Supp0osedly the salon might end up charging 60-100 bucks if they go over well.

How much did you pay for yours? And how are they working out so far?

I want them so bad, with my platinum hair I look like an albino without mascara on. But I dont want to bother with makeup all the time, nor do I want to pay 60 bucks for lashes.

i can't even feel them on it's just like having really long lashes

they're supposed to be able to last up to two months with proper maintenance (going to get what the equivalent of gel nail fills would be) every three weeks

she just glued each false lash onto my real one
she asked me how long and dramatic i wanted them and i told her that i liked my lashes, but just wanted a bit more length

it took about an hour

i went to that axion salon in city square (the building that blanche mcdonald is located in)

i'm supposed to be able to wear mascara and everything, but i honestly don't think i'd need any

she had a bit of a hard time applying the false lashes on my real ones because i have naturally curly lashes. i've never had to use an eyelash curler or anything like that.

and as for my natural length, i can't use mac zoom lash mascara during the day (or i wont rather) because it makes me look like i'm wearing long, thick false lashes

i didn't really shop around before hand, i did walk into some asian owned store on cambie and ask about their price.
the lady took one look at me and said $150

i thanked her and was greatful that i'd already made the appointment at axion

That is cool! Something I would def consider, esp for summer when I don't really wear much makeup. I like the idea of not having to wear mascara!
