So, yeah ................Your not even gonna believe this!

So in Nanaimo "SPIN SUNDAY"......is the main 'rave-music' night happenin'...

So anyways, just another night.........when this old guy comes up to the bar....

Apparently exactly 50 or 60 years ago to the day all his friends died in the D-Day way in the Netherlands...

*This was the war when the Canadians freed the dutch from the grasp of the Nazi's*

So he says to me...

*". I want to honour my fellow soldiers and comrades that fought with me back in the war.......so i want everyone to drink with me.!!!*"

So i'm all thinkin'....*Ya sure,........man*

He drops 2-grand on the bar and tells the bartender that everyone can drink.

FOR THE NEXT 2 HOURS IT WAS KAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

It was a complete GONG-SHOW..................everyone......drin king...........like there is........no..........tommorrow..

BEST NIGHT EVER!!!!!!!!!!1

OMFG, AMAZING

Euro Dollar is on a distinguished road
I have mixed feelings about this... That's because I wasn't there... The only 2 scenarios that comes to mind, is the old man droping 2 grand on the table, everyone going nuts and him sitting all by himself looking all sad... Or everyone surrounding him and making him the center of attention making it the night of his life...

Which was it?

Who cares if it's not D-day. These guys went overseas to fight for the very freedom we enjoy today. Every soldier endured more pain and suffering than anyone of us can imagine. Once they crashed on the beaches of Normandy, all sense of time was lost. All they wanted was for the war to end and to go back home. Sixty years ago it did, but even if they survived to see home again, a piece of every soldier was left behind.

I'd drink to that. Back in his day they partied hard, real hard. The men and women of WW2 are getting very old, this had to be his last big bang...it must have been great for him to do it up one last time.
