OK so supposedly this is quite common. I was just getting ready for bed a couple weeks ago, when my boyfriend asked me if I had thrown out this shirt he usualy sleeps in. I had mentioned that it wasn't really that good looking, and that it had some holes in it. But I would never just throw it out. I would be pissed off it someone just took my clothes and threw them out.

Anyway he told me that a couple of his friends have had girlfriends do that to them.

So would you do that to your boyfriend or girlfriend if you didn't like some of their clothes? Just throw them out without asking? I just don't find it very respectfull I guess.
Although I'm sure everyone has their reasons. So if you have done it, why did you do it???

Guilty. I think I've done this once. When I was going through all our clothes to see if we could get rid of anything because our tiny tiny bedroom was full of just clothes! I might have asked him if it was ok though, don't quite recall. If it was something he wore regularly - I wouldn't throw it away for sure with out asking... and I made sure he had lots more of the same thing. Either way.... he never missed the tossed items because it was never mentioned :silly:

hehe.. While dating my last boyfriend I was so tempted to throw some of his clothes out, so what I would do instead was I'd put em in a pile and tell him that I wanna get rid of it but wanted him to go through it first. He usually never bothered to go through it and would just say toss it (I had a 'bad' habit of buying him new clothes whenever I saw something I'd like him to wear..).

I've never done this/i would never do this, however I have been victim of this. Several years back one of my ex'es threw out all the clothes she didn't like. Unfortunately, I was away at the time, and by the time I got back, clothes were gone for good. Oh well, so was she.

haha when I lived with my last bf I did all the laundry and stuff and things would always 'go missing' that were especially horrid.

I never threw them out, and he got them all back after the breakup. They went into hiding for his own good! lol

i would never ever do that. one thing that absolutely upsets me is when people throw away my stuff, especially if it would be clothes.
my stuff randomly always goes missing, and it's the biggest heartache ever, THATS RIGHT BIGGER THAN LOVE
