DJ ZINC Postponed to MONDAY MAY 23
I hope this is ok in the lounge, if it's not then mods please delete. I've already made the correct changes to all listings in the events sections. I know there is some confusion, so that is why i thought it important to post this in the lounge.
DJ Zinc tonight (Tuesday May 17) has been postponed There's been a bit of confusion with the agent regarding the make-up date but it has all been sorted out. This is the official announcement. ATTENTION Due to circumstances beyond our control (missed flight from London UK to Vancouver) DJ ZINC has been postponed until next MONDAY, MAY 23... We at Automatic regret this unfortunate turn of events, but we'd like to stress that ZINC WILL be playing next Monday. He plays what was to have been the last date of his tour Sunday May 22 in Toronto, and will be flying to Vancouver from there to play the make-up show MONDAY, MAY 23 I know that originally the make-up was planned for Tuesday May 24, but Zinc has family commitments in the UK that he cannot miss, so we've had to bump it ahead a day. I apologize for any confusion, and can only offer the excuse that I am trying to make information available to you as soon as possible. I'll be posting flight details once they've been finalized to further confirm this booking. I have spoken with Zinc and his agent and they both want to express their apologies for what happened, though most of the blame has to be laid at the feet of British Airways. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU If you have already bought a ticket: Your ticket will be valid for the make-up show next Monday. If you are unable to attend and wish to receive a refund then refund at point of purchase. In addition, your tickets will be valid for free admission to the Lotus tonight, and this does not affect either admission next Monday or refund. We will be stamping tickets at the door tonight to ensure one free admission per ticketholder, but rest assured the stamp DOES NOT affect admission next Monday or refund. For those who did not buy a ticket, normal admission of $6 applies for tonight, and it should be a rager tonight regardless, so come down if you can make it out.

thats like the best fucking news for me right now! THANK YOU SWEET JUNGLY JESUS! I wasnt going to be able to make it tonight due to my lack of funds,but now that its been moved to monday im all up innit cuz i get paid saturday mother fuckers!!!! HAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck yes. will i still be able to buy tix somewheres on like the weekendish tho?!
