überbabe: bi-sexual rebel goddess, oh my!



Vancouver, BC and Los Angeles, CA – Progressive entertainment studio sugarlab would like to announce the release of the first collected volume and companion soundtrack in the lost records of überbabe: “uberbabe [same as it ever was]: the lost books of everything [or something], volume 1.

überbabe is the mother of all superheroes: a 150,00 year old bi-sexual prophet and progressive icon. She has one mission: to unite a worldwide army of uberbabes and aid them in kicking humans up the ladder of consciousness. Assisted by her interdimensional army of rebel assassins, she fights the residual starlight forces of fear and paranoia with saucy wit and weapons, seductive positivity and ultra-love.

uberbabe is created, written and cross-media conceived by Lisa Voldeng. Art by Rebecca Dart, Fish Griwkowsky, Gerry Fournier and Jack Duckworth. Music by DJ Cody Lee Williams and Elad Marish. Rick Torres of Supreme Beings of Leisure assisted with a special channeled remix of “Where is the Disco Platform?”

Says sugarlab chief Lisa Voldeng, aka the lady uberbabe, on the book/record release, “Prologue. Prelude. Lead-in. Overture. Knockdown. Drag out. Shoot ‘em up. Take ‘em out. Whack down. Batter up. Drink the stuff. [Open sesame.]”

uberbabe is a meta-mythology, a cross-media entertainment project and a movement. It blends entertainment with virtual community and real events, where people can create their own überbabe identities and experiment with them in the real world.

uberbabe is also an enigmatic figure who was erased from “official” history by the forces of fear and bigotry. She represents an energy that receded from the world, and is now returning. Everyone is a potential überbabe.
