Hip Hop/Rave parties coming to Vancouver

Seems like hip-hop will actually be combining with raves. The thread I started a few months ago seems to be accurate.

Players Ball is coming up and Twisted is coming out with one.

On the Wett Flyer it says:
Also, keep your eye out for Twisted's upcoming Hip-Hop Parties accociated with Forwerd Entertainment

I want to know how this is gonna work? Is this the next trend? Is this gonna be a club night for people who aren't 19?

Actual Hip-hop music can only draw so much, so rap will obviosly be played.

PS - Side note : Meat Katie - Bring Yourself (Off Again) is a phat track.

i dont think the whole night is going to hip-hop..maybe just on a main stage...
its a way to make money bring people back to the scene.
theyve been doing it for a while...ya the g spot promoers know where its at.

have to agree with 4:20.. if it was like the vibe at summerlove 2001...BRING IN HIPHOP...just don't start playin like hardcore rap and tons of headnodding music.. please no.

i didn't spend much time at the hip hop stage at summerlove, but from what i saw, it wasn't too bad...i thought it would be all gangstars* but it wasn't...
they also played some nice tracks which could be heard from the tent area

Of course Its just music that you can dance to. Hip Hop NOT GANGSTER RAP, who likes to go and party and listen to like 36 Mafia or something about killing people. It should be quite fun. Evreyone should come and check it out, dont be one sided, these two types of music (electronic & hip hop) is PARTY music. If you really dont start getting into the whole Hip Hop thing then just go to the other room. I know some people are iffey about the whole idea, but hey G SPOT does it, did it really bother you that there was a rap stage there. Well anyways I hope some of you decide to give it a try.

SONAR is bumpin' on wednesday if you're into to hip-hop

Sonar is the best club on Wednesday and possible one of the best club in Vancouver that plays hip-hop (better than Richards I think). Grande Wednesday has a great crowd, drinks are good priced, a lot of hotties and dj wax just owns!
