Need Serious Help Asap!!!!!!!!!!

So my sisters boy friend accidently kicked over a bottle of nail polish and got it all over the carpet and wall..........does anyone know a way of getting it out of the carpet and off a wall with out bleaching the carpet and taking the paint off the wall?......need any help ASAP!!!!!!!!!......thanx a million for any help

Is it still wet?

if so, try pouring salt on it. The salt absorbs the liquid out of the carpet - it's a trick I've used on red wine many times.

Of course, if the salt and nail polish harden together you could be making the problem worse.. =P

bleached carpet vs nail polish colour... which is worse?

Solvent will probably take it out. sticks horribly but I think its taken out most paint/grease kinda stains w/out removing much if any colour.

DON'T APPLY THE NAILPOLISH REMOVER DIRECTLY!

Put it on a piece of paper towel and wipe it off with that. A bit more specific so will cut down on the bleaching of the carpet.

Ultimately, if it takes something that's going to damage the carpet to remove it, the carpet's already damaged.

well I talked to my mom and she told me to pour some rug doctor carpet cleaner on it and cover it with paper towels and something heavy on it till she got home......the wall we'll probably have to paint to fix it........thanx for all the help though

it won't neccesarilly (Sp?) bleach the carpet but it will take the coulor out of it
