Wow,
What an awesome evening for star gazing... Just set up the scope since I haven't used it in a while. Saw saturn and Jupiter nice and clear. Infact I was able to see 4 around jupiter. and can see the "red spot". Its so peaceful and you really go out of this world when your looking through a good quality telescope.

ya, same here, I had a pretty good night, mini FNK BBQ at my place followed by watching the stupidly hilarious movie "Team America" on my big screen

soooooo drunk right noww......lol.... and it only cost me about $4..... GOOOOOO cheap american beer!

I've been working up in the British Properties for the last week, and the last two days, we worked late, needing nightfall.

Stepped outside, last night, looked up and immediately above me was the Big Dipper!

Damn!

That's one of the constellations I usually have a hard time finding!

Tonight I was just too damn busy, and the BFL's had half the hill's flying insect population around us. Including the bloody pterodactly-sized 'skitters up there!!!

...and the punchline?

WE HAVE A _SKOOKUM_ TELESCOPE ON SET!!!!!!!!!

Never even had the chance to _think_ about using it!

Well, two weeks left @ that location. Maybe I'll have another chance to look at the past.
