I woulda died, being a labourer in the dirty and wet.
I had to say though, the deep freeze was nice....everything was frozen, so I was dry by days end. On the cold wet ays, before I got around to buying my rain gear, my feet got fuckin cold!
and the biggest key (aside from layer of clothes, of course) was the pair of mint heavy duty cold weather gloves....kept my hands warm, dry, and protected. lasted the whole winter.
