GIRLS: Hair question!

I have grad on saturday and i wanted to do my hair in curls.....not full headed curls but a few just to spice shit up.....

any suggestions on how i can get nice looking, long lasting curls....

this is one thing i have never done on my own and was just curious if u had any tips for me......

dont wash ur hair the day of.. cuz the curls will last longer in dirty hair.. not freshly cleaned hair.. that might sound gross but ull have so much product in it that it wont matter any ways..

and umm.. if u can put them in rollers b4 the re curl them with a curling iron

i styled my hair for grad after a maxim picture mixed with baby from dirty dancing - curly, messy, kinda looked like i just had a slight romp at the beach with a handsome young man.
i had hot curlers, then the lady used two types of curling irons - the really big fat one, and the spirl one. lots of product - mostly hairspray - and some back combing.
the end product totally rocked, but i dont think my hair was too happy the next day.

anyways - definately the hot curlers. my cousin does hair and make-up for weddings and swears by them.

OMG what a nightmare I had. I made the disition to do a full head of curls my self. DIDNT WORK. I cryed washed my hair again and wore it boring blow dry :(

I wish you the best as I didnt use any of the tricks these girls are sugesting.
