Forwerd & Twisted HipHop Parties
I want to thank everyone for their interest in our events. As a promoter, it is hard for me to tell you all how flattering it is to visit a web forum that you've only heard about, and never actually been to, and to see hype about your parties that are still in the planning stage.
Well, as our second step into the scene, let me take the time to introduce ourselves and explain to you what we're all about and our vision, read on. We began partying at both rave and hip hop parties several years ago, and we found that both parties had something to offer one another. So we (forwerd) approached Twisted Productions with our concept of combining the vibe and atmosphere found in a rave party with the vibe and music found in a hip hop party. Twisted was not only interested, but offered full support. It was then, that the ball started to roll. We have shared ideas with one another to help not only the hip hop scene, but the rave scene also. Forwerd's mission is to ensure that every guest at our parties recieves VIP treatment. Our reason behind this was we did not want to divide our guests in half by saying group A is more important than group B. so, our first company investment was inflatable couches for our lounge. Twisted liked the concept so much that the very same couches will be available in the Wett VIP area. It is the small things like this that will give our parties the reputation that we are working so hard for. I am dedicating this next paragraph to help rid the world of some common misconceptions. Forwerd parties are associated with Twisted. As of right now, the idea of having a hip hop section at rave parties has not been discussed. This is because we do not want to intrude upon the rave scene and take place over a type of music such as dnb or breaks (don't get us wrong, i love dnb and breaks) but now that we have approval from you guys, we will discuss this topic at our next meeting to see if we are able to introduce a 4th type of music. In regards to us being a "club for people under 19", forwerd is in the process of planning hip hop nights at various clubs once a month pending on if we can build a solid following. Forwerd Productions is here to help create a hip hop scene. We do not want to take over anything, we only want to introduce an addition to your already prominant scene. Our crew consists of 12 hard working people. Each person was chosen very carefully to help promote and ensure that every person in our parties has a good time. If you are interested in becoming a Forwerd promoter, we will be doing a full scale search after our first event. I'm personally not to into hip-hop but if it was to ever been incorporated as apart of raves and I heard more of the stuff I might get into it...That's what happen with other genres like breaks..dnb..house etc...I wasn't open to it at first but once I heard it and stuff I got to grow an appreciation for it!!
