better safe than sorry

see pics below

a little background: last rave i attended was fusion, i was hobbling around the whole night because earlier that week i stepped on a nail at work, i had an ok time at fusion because i simply couldnt dance all that much and so i didnt have as much fun, plus i didnt pop much since it woulda been a waste. time passed, i healed, my foots fine and i was ready to go to sinful UNTIL..

today. im at work again.. and well, long story short, a metal bar falls on my face, and then im covered with blood. its funny, i just found out today that there are not as many sensory receptors in teh face as tehre are in the rest of your body, so i continued to work for a few seconds until everyone was shouting at me "OMG JA_RAUL, WHAT THE FUCK, LOOK AT YOUR SHIRT" (ya there was a bit of blood on it)

im like "wtf mate", so i get first aid and whatnot, go to the clinic, and get some stitches. my question to the wise folks at fnk is this: should my blow to the head deter me from partying it up at sinful? meaning... should i ingest drugs, or will this put me in risk of something more major than just a .. well, i dont know.

im aware that its only a few stitches on a laceration to the face, but i figure its better to ask people in case theyve had experience with this sort of thing, a near concussion and popping mdma that is.

I think that putting drugs in your body when they shouldn't be there will slow down your bodies healing time.

Shit... that looks like it hurt. And I'm with Gusto... is that what they call you at work?

P.S. Drugs and injury aren't usually a good idea unless they come from an M.D.

shit, man, nice scar... you're very lucky that didn't get you in the eye! yeah, I gotta agree with the other posters, I wouldn't take E, I always found it really fucks with your immune system... you'll heal much slower, and maybe get sick...

OTOH, I've never found the same with hallucinogens...

Hey Ja Raul, sorry to hear about what happened to ya dude! Hope you are feeling better!!

Certain ticket sellers out there still have tickets @ $50. So you can find some for that price :) And while what I'll say may seem biased (because I am the promoter) -- but as from one raver to an other... whatever you pay (let it be 40, 50, 60 or more) it will be worthwile for you to attend this event.. the setup is going to be huge, the laser show is going to be intense, the performers and the theatrical detail in this show will be outstanding...

We worked on this event for over 6 months now, and we're going all out to make this an experience, not just a cookie cutter rave with lights, speakers and DJs.

Hope to see ya at the show!

Sinful will be well worth it. Maybe you can just stick to some pre-drinking and medicinal greenery instead of E or something like that?

Nice lookin battle-scar

quick question, will they be selling red bulls at sinful? and will they be overpriced as usual? if i do go, i think that will be the only thing keeping me awake since smokin weed gets me tired as fuck after a while. a little party pre drinking never works either, im one of those people that drink steadily instead of a whole lot in a little while, besides, i only stay "drunk" for a short time.

fairly priced red bull will be my only saviour for sinful, if i go

i realize that it wont add an extra month to the healing process, but i dont exactly want to delay my recovery from this mishap, i would like to recover as quickly as possible, im supposed to go back to see the doctor on tuesday to get my stitches taken out (i think) and then on wednesday im leaving to go to europe for a month, its quite unfortunate that i had to injure myself like this less than a week before my vacation.

whooooo gona go see tiesto!

You can impress all the European ladies with stories about how you got that scar wrestling large bull moose in the rugged forests of Vancouver. They will be all over your sexy lumberjack ass.
