Do you take the West Coast Express?

Well, after 6 months of getting free parking at work I was finally busted by the HR department.... no more free parking for Shawn :(

I figure if I now have to pay $50 a month for parking plus my gas ($30 a week or so for work only) and deal with the stress of traffic that it might be better to just take the train in. I can get a pass from my work for $140 a month that also includes a basic bus pass. I'd basically aprk at COQ Centre, take the train and take the #17 Oak up to the hospital. I'm sure the bus portion will blow goats.

For anyone who takes the train to work... is it worth it? Do you enjoy it? I mean it's really tough to talk someone out of the convenience of their own vehicle! Besides, if I do end up taking the train everyday.... I WANT TRAIN BUDDIES!!

The WestCoast Express rocks. So much better than the skybuddy. My favorite car is the Snoozer Cruiser. It is the quiet car, so you don't need to listen to losers on the train. You can also eat and drink on this train, which you aren't supposed to on the Skybuddy.

I wish I could take it still! *sad face*

Took the train in this morning.... HOLY STRESS FREE!!!!!!!!!!! Way more relaxing than driving but not as time effective. I think the reduced stress factor is worth the extra 10 or 15 minutes though.

What time do you trainees take it to work/home?

Yeah I took the 6:40 out of COQ this morning and it got me to work at 7:45. I'm thinking I'll end up using the next train more often. Home can be anywhere between the 3:50 and 4:50 though... depends on when I feel like ditching work
