Question about burning....

So it burns when I pee, but only on Thursdays. No actually I meant burning DVDs. I just got a new comp and I I've got steps 1 and 3 in the burning process covered. I got a few good torent sites to download from, and I've got a good new version of NERO to burn with. I was told I would need some software that will convert it so it will allow me to burn tv episodes and movies onto DVDs. I don't care about having a copy on my hard drive, to watch on my computer, I'd rather just have it on disk. I'm not all that computer savy, so feel free to laugh at my ignorance, but if anyone knows a good program to use and a good site to download it from, it would be greatly apreciated.

Thanx! I still have some difficulty with this message saying it's copyrighted and shite. I know it's illegal and all but are there any programs that can get around copyrighting and burn it anyways?

ive never actually burned a DVD
but i assume nero has plugins u can download that will automatically convert your video files into the codec that dvd requires

another way around is if u download actual dvd rips
u can get a prog called daemon tools
and then open the DVD through that and u can copy the cd directly

use dvd decrypt and dvd shrink, after compressing in shrink it automatically leads to burning in nero.
