this ruling isn't anything new. they've been doing this for years. how the fuck do you think highways and shit get built?

the only difference is, now they are basically giving authority for local governments to seize the land provided it's a "benefit" to the community. and we all know how smart local governments are. not to mention "benefit" is such a loose term that anything could fall under that definition.
btw: they do compensate these poor people. (not saying that's ok, but they aren't exactly getting turfed onto the street)

they actually don't even make that pretext. It says 'private projects.'

Essentially the government is sanctioning who is allowed to own property and what they can do with it. Hello planned economy

serious, i've got nothing against gun ownership, and i think a gun license is a good thing. not so sure about registering the actual guns, just a license like a fishing license, or hunting, or driving etc... yeah, it's another way for them to "watch" us, but they're watching us anyways.

do you know that in washington state if you have a gun licence you're allowed to purchase a maximum of over 600 guns a year, and the law allows for private person-to-person sales at gun shows with little or no paperwork? what's that all about.... i say we tell them we'll crack down on our weed "problem" if they do something about the flood of guns coming up over the border. ask any cop and they'll tell you that within the last decade the number of handguns they're finding in van has exploded, and drunk idiots that used to settle things mano-a-mano with their fists now pull gats on the regular.
