i shat a brick when i saw the trailer on tv for the first time at night when i was home alone.
i think i'll wait until it comes out on video and watch it in broad daylight with multiple friends, rather than screaming in the theatre as i usually do :)

^no way, you gotta go see horror films in theatres where it's dark! i love horror movies, but they really depend on where you watch them and who you watch them with.

i hate being scared.
like the feeling you get in your stomach, when you know something freaky as hell is going to happen, but you cant tear your eyes away from the screen to save your life.
maaaan.
i screamed out loud about 9 times during amity ville horror.
Land of the dead will ruin me.
ahahhahaha :(

ya, Shuan of the Dead was sorta a lame zombie movie, I thought. Seemed like the director couldn't make up his mind wether he wanted a comedy or a horror movie. In the end I got lost with the British humor and my gf fell asleep.

The remake of Dawn of the Dead was gold though!!!! The ending was the best, with the spliced up clips during the credits. In the end they all die, hahahaha, evil!!!!

Maaaaaaaaan...

I got dragged out to see this new installment of zombies on Sat.

"Land of the DUMB" should be the title, being far more accurate!

I mean, it wasn't a horror movie!

It was full-on Camp, but in the bad way where I couldn't even laugh at it!
Actually, it was more like a "groan-fest" with all of the cheezy, cliche one-liners in this flick.

This show does NOT take itself seriously.
The prosthetic effects? _THAT_ they take seriously! (Go, GORE!)

Bottom line: Don't waste your time!
Wait till it's out on video, then go rent all 4 of Romero's zombie flicks, leaving the newest for last for when you're _really_ drunk, high, tired, and zombied-out!

Frosty
("Serpent and the Rainbow" = zombies)

thread belongs in flicks & tv?

meh no matter i think ill watch it for some good laugh. what was that other movie that came out last year? ummm dawn of the dead or something. i enjoyed that movie alot, it was just senseless kiling through out. sometimes thats all i want in a movie to enjoy. better then watching a movie where the director tried to make it good but it turns out all fucking gay.

28 days was a good one..but the classic "night of the living dead"..wil lalways be close to my heart*tear*...that was the first horror movie i ever seen (by choice)...fell in love wit em after that...and im talkin the black and white...the newer versons..although gorey..not the greatest acting...

if yer scarde of horrors start with the old corney ones...youll get over yer fear fast....my first horror movie was, people under the stairs.....my brothers made me...i was 6...that kinda broke me..lol
