go to an underground show. The music is much better (imo) and the people are awesome-rad.

I went to a rave just last weekend where the mainstage was trance and techno and any vietnamese people there blended easily with the rest of the crowd.

Go to better raves.

I have been to the undergrounds as well, They are awesome because they sell booze and let you smoke doobies and what not, But what i was meaning is like , at raverside and the pacific colleseum

#1: I've been to few underground shows that sell booze. Selling booze without a license is one sure-fire way to get your party busted.
#2: Once again, go to better raves. I wouldn't consider Raverside or Pacific to be "better raves".

I think that whats missing is that exitement that came when you started partying. When I was oblivious to all the negative things about raving, and i was PLURed out. I used to have so much fun. The scene changes but i think the people are what change the most, the scene just changes with the people. I'll go to small parties once in a while and I usually have a pretty good time. I dont even do drugs any more. That feeling of when you start partying never really comes back though

I will always be a candy kid at heart and in my mind.

I :miss: parties at the Spanish, afterparties at station street, parties being 'parties', not feeling like I was over dressed because the norm is for 16 year olds to wear matching underwear and that is all, when the point of being there was for the music and the people - not because it is a place to be seen and get high. The acceptance, collectiveness and the specialness is what seems to be missing for me most.

Problem with having a 19+ Alcohol section is that then you need a liquor license.

They already have raves like that.

They're called "clubs".
