it would've been a fun game to see.

(rowdy and entertaining as well, i'm sure.. especially if you showed up wearing newcastle gear. heh)

Has ANYONE including you Charly ever been to a game @ Swanguard? I'm not usually into soccer...But I think it's a sport where I have to see it LIVE to actually experience it and MAYBE just MAYBE get a interest for the game?

my buddy is from Newcastle and realllllly wanted to wear his jersey to the game... pretty funny that the Whitecaps actually won though.. and 3-0, they wupped their asses.

ricey: yes, I have been to a game (just one), but it's pretty entertaining - and they even sell Guiness there too!!

It's even better in Europe where they get into an absolute frenzy, even if you're in the Streets watching it on TV. World Cup '98 was so much fun when I was in Germany.

my friend is from newcastle as well, and he went with his parents and they all wore their NUFC gear. hah

i haven't been to a game here, but i'd love to go. watching it on tv is entertaining already, i can imagine the games would be even more fun (and it's something i HAVE to do when i'm in europe)

There's a game this Sunday at 7pm, maybe not enough notice... also one next Friday (29th)? but after that I won't be able to go to a game until around the 20th or 27th of August... maybe wait til then? Tickets are $14 for the cheap ones, $18 for better and a whopping $22 for the best seats. Of course, $8 is nearly two beers so....
