Right the seeds portion is actually 1 thing where the media is using at an excuse and is blowing it up. But from what I also heard is that there is more to that to which there is in fact money laundering going on. And yes with the seeds as well. Its illegal in the states and he was selling the seeds to people in the states so that is considered as a criminal offense under us law. In other words the situation is equivelant to a cocaine dealer in south america. If they are going mainstream to the states then the fbi and dea is going to get that person.

But look at what his other charges are! Conspiracy to manufacture marijuana?? I didn't even know that was a crime in Canada, and I've damn sure never heard of anyone being convicted of it. I'm sure in the states they hang you out to dry for it, but this is Canada, and Emery is a Canadian. If he was "conspiring to manufacture marijuana" he was doing it on Canadian soil. There's no way to justify an extradition in this case, especially when the US government spends less effort going after DANGEROUS criminals abroad.
