Todd Bertuzzi reinstated for 2005-06 season

Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi, who had been suspended indefinitely by the National Hockey League, has been reinstated for the start of the 2005-06 season. Bertuzzi forfeited a total of $501,926.39 in salary as a result of his suspension. He is scheduled to make $5.2 million this season.

Mattias Ohlund is a must sign.

I wouldn't recommend a trade of bertuzzi regardless of how rusty he is without him and the top line we don't have much depth past that line. The sedins were in my opinion one of brian burke's worst draft picks, and burke had almost no bad draft picks.

but ya we do need a goalie. Clouts is great during the regular season and he should be able to play well in the playoff's too but he just can't handle the playoff pressure.

yeah im happy about that. i woulda laughed at them if they kept going with the suspension. the shitty thing about the canucks, is they'll never win a cup if they don't get a championship goalie.. cloutier is very very good but he's just not a cup worthy goalie. i haven't really been paying attn so i dno who they want to sign?

I've always liked the looks of Alex Auld, I hope he gets some good time as a backup this year. He has the nerves of steel that Cloutier so desperately lacks.
