Quitting my job today...

So I'm giving my two weeks notice today to go back to school. I've known about school the entire time I've had this job and I sorta hinted I was going back "if I got accepted" so it won't be a super shock to them. I feel marginally bad that it's STUPID busy right now as a result of the trucker's strike ending but not that much. They treat their employees like shit here... and totally underpay them. The company is really chillin... it's just the department that licks balls.

Never again will I take a data entry job. I'd do telemarketing before I did this again... fuck.

It's weird I'm totally nervous about going into my boss's office. I mean I SO want to do this... you have no idea... but I still feel funny. Maybe it's because it signifies that I'll be going to school shortly.

Ya this month's gone by too fast.

Aight... I'm gonna go do it... I'll tell y'all what happened.

the trucker thing will calm down soon enough, and you do have two more weeks left, so i'm sure they'll be fine. besides, with data entry it's not hard to just get a temp.

hah well there you go! finding someone else (especially a temp) should be easy, especially with two weeks.

If they fire me they gotta give me a weeks severance since I've been here for six months. I lose out on about $300 but and extra few days off would be nice.
