we have 1 GTR and like 5 GTS and two of the GTS' are GTS-T but they all range from different prices.. and as for someone who mentioned that they need 15 years to come here.. thats RITE! i wish r34 skylines were 15 years old :(

Im still waiting for my import to come on over here... I paid alot less than any of the prices i see on those sites. Its alot cheaper to do it privately instead of through a company that is doing it full time.

I notice some deals on used cars from Japan. Like 1989 Mercedes 420SEL and 560SEL for about $18K each. I've seen them and they look mint and have only 32,000 km! That's like about 2,000 km/year of driving (Calgary & back).

Apparently in Japan they don't drive nearly as much as us, and the cars are well-maintained due to gov regulations, some just sit in the garage and act as a status symbol.

used german cars have some of the worst reliability and its bad for a car just too sit in a garage and not be drivin

Repairs are what I would be afraid of (from stuff like old gaskets). According to Consumer Reports, Mercedes is very reliable, BMW not so good (in general). My VW is really old but has never crapped out on me or not started, no complaints there, but it's rusting out now and too ugly to put money into.
