he's now in Edmonton prepping for the $300,000 Canadian Derby, when he returns we're going to get him ready to run in the BC Derby, the richest race in BC at $250,000.

Two of my bosses own race horses and are really into the scene. I wish I knew their names; I'm not at all into it, but I'm almost certain their horses competed in a couple of those races...

so i bet today.
i never bet usualy.
but my friends horse was going off at 6/1 and dave's horse was 8/1, so i did a $1 exacta box, 2,5,6 and bet $5 on 5 to win. i paid $11. i made $102.80 and i went to get drunk.
i can't wait for tomorrow, i have Whata Blurr and Flight of Fancy in the same race, both are ready to win, i'm going to do an exacta box with those two plus Terry Jordans horse Filly's Gone Wild.

A girl I used to hang w/ in high school, and my brother both worked at Woodbine Track in T.O.

I've never been ON a horse, but, they used to sneak me into the back-stretch shed-rows to party. Imagine being gooned outta your gourd, stumbling around, w/ $multi-million thoroughbreds sticking their heads out of their stalls at you....

The very first time I went to the track w/ my friend, she went over to chat w/ dem dreads and got the winner for one of the upcoming races.

She shoves the list in my face and says, "Pick one.".

I randomly pointed at one, and we went and bet the exactor, both ways.

We won! No big coin, but, still, with two more wins through the day, we ended up getting drunk, getting ganja, and still heading home w/ $20 each, just on mimimum $2 bets!

Good to hear you're liking the track. Glad to hear you're making good on all of the tips that get passed around the track (some better than others...).

yes, welcome to my life, getting half tanked and racing horses on the weekends, it's great.
or waking up at 5pm on a mattress behind one of the barns, hammered, and stumbling up to your friends room.
no hangovers for me. you can't be hungover if you get drunk early, a trick i learned a long time ago.

trackers are a breed apart, although not all of them ared the same, i like to think i don't live up to the stereotype.
